Hospital Background
Boao Evergrande International Hospital is the first hospital in China to open in affiliation with Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The hospital is committed to integrate world’s leading medical resources in talents, technology, medical devices and medication to provide “patient-centered” care, using evidence based practices, from the modern, state of the art 223 bed facility. The hospital will specialize in oncology.
Located in the “Chinese Haiwaii”- Hainan Island, the hospital lies in the Boao Lecheng medical tourism pilot zone, the first of its kind in China, enjoys nine preferential polices, including special permission for medical talent, technology, medical devices, drugs, and to carry out leading-edge medical research. Leveraging the pilot zone’s preferential policy, the hospital is also committed to build a high-standard cancer research platform.
Essential Functions
The successful candidate will lead the clinical services and technical oversight as part of the Molecular Pathology Service in the Boao hospital, and the total mission of the department – quality clinical service and productive research.
Qualifications
· MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent
· Candidates must be Board-certified in Clinical Pathology or Anatomic, and Board-certified or Board-eligible in Molecular Genetic Pathology, at the time of appointment
· over 20 years’ working experience and at least 10 years’ working experience in the US hospitals
· fluent in both Chinese and English
